Dinithi Iddawela is a licensed architect in Sri Lanka. Born and raised in Kandy, she went on to pursue her higher studies in USA, where she received her Bachelor’s of Architecture from Auburn University. She currently has an active practice in Sri Lanka through Blue Dot Studio, and is also an adjunct faculty at IE School of Architecture and Design in Segovia, Spain. Although the practice is primarily anchored in Sri lanka, Blue Dot Studio has worked on project proposals in various countries.

Dinithi is also the founder of a small grassroots effort named Clean River Project in Kandy. It is focused on societal waste reduction and ecological restoration. The project has conducted many river cleanups along the banks of the Mahaweli Ganga and also numerous awareness sessions within schools and various community events.
